Food Truck

Chris and I love living in the suburbs, but we miss out on the food scene in Atlanta. Most of the time, we are too lazy to drive just a little bit more and venture out. Today was such a nice day that we needed to do something different! I woke up really late after battling insomnia (If I drink boba milk tea at night, I don't sleep until 4-5 a.m.). 

Anyways, the food truck park is such a cute spot for locals to hang out. We didn't do any research and just picked whatever looked good. Actually, I picked the first food truck that had a yummy picture on the truck. I was so hungry that I just needed something in my belly.

Simple

I love wearing a white blouse and dark skinny jeans. I think it's a perfect outfit combination and I can wear it everyday. 

I say it's a perfect combination, but I don't have a lot of white blouses I wear. I tend to buy blouses that are on the cheaper side and not 100% satisfied, so I end up leaving it in my closet or giving it away.

I want to find that perfect blouse that I can wear it dress up or dress down.

For now, I am happy with this blouse I got from TJ Maxx. I got it for less than $20 dollars. 

I find lots of good tops, workout clothes, and shoes there.

Spring Wish List

As today is the first day of spring, I decided I would share with you all my spring "wish list" items.  I'm kicking myself a little for not getting the floral pants last night.  The Loft was having an evening flashsale for 60% off and I could have gotten them for $22.  Oh well, I hope to score some of these items in the next couple of months as stores start switching things out for the summer.  Happy Spring!!

Yun Mi, a friend who recently started a blog. She writes this in one of her post, "I’m not a professional photographer. I don’t aspire to be. I don’t ever plan on starting my own business or shooting full time. I wouldn’t even call it a hobby."

I can relate and understand to her in terms of why my sister and I decided to create this blog.

Anyways, one thing for sure is that Yun Mi took lots of great pictures and also made me realize I need a better camera for my fashion blog. 

During the whole process I realized I had limited poses and when in doubt, I just looked down. It's not about my face, it's about the clothes so just look down!

Nice weather

It's been a busy week and a busier weekend. We had husband's brother come in town and we hosted our niece's birthday party at our house on Saturday. Everything turned out great, and the weather couldn't have been any better!

This outfit is from Friday. Sister Kim and I were running errands all day and prepping for the party, so I was wearing my comfortable boyfriend jeans and just a causal grey t-shirt. Perfect combo for running errands. I do love my new boyfriend jeans, but not everyone agrees. Husband kept asking me several times what kind of jeans I was wearing. I guess he prefers skinny jeans?

If you notice in the last two pictures, I have my dog and my niece in my pictures. I guess they were curious what we were doing. :)

These yellow wedges are one of the target shoes I purchased. So, I got 5 pairs of shoes, ended up returning 3 because they were too big. I kept one and these yellow pair was a little too tight and I gave it to my sister. I was sooo excited about my shoes and ended up only keeping one. Made me a little sad.

Purple and denim

I don't know how folks who live in the northwest deal with constant rain. I feel like as I get older the weather affects my mood more and more. I have been ready to get into dresses, skirts, and shorts. So, this weekends weather has gotten me ecstatic. Can't wait to start pulling out my spring clothes.

Simple Casual

It's been awhile since I've done a real outfit update. Life has been a little crazy for me and it's been hard to time things so that I can get my picture taken. Here's a simple casual outfit. Nothing new here but I like how it's come together.

spring cleaning

Yesterday I spent a couple of hours cleaning and organizing my closet. The end product made me so proud and happy that my husband and I had a 30- minute conversation in there. :)

While cleaning, I realized I had lots of browns and greys but not a lot clothes with color.

This spring, I am going to try to buy more colors for my wardrobe and also pick styles that I don't already have.

By the way, I can't wait to show you guys my new purchases from Target. I haven't bought Target shoes for awhile (over 2 years), and I bought several this time. I was unsure with sizes because I am between 6 and 6 1/2. I'm so excited!

Scoutmob Friday's

My sister and I have been going out to dinner with our families the last several Friday's. We've been checking our new restaurants through Scoutmob. We thought it would be fun sharing our thoughts and experience. I'll just start with today.

We went to a Korean taco place in Duluth called MJ Tacos and Wings tonight. They have regular tacos ranging from $2.50 to specialty tacos that are $3.50. We tried the Hawaiian fish taco, the lemon pepper and Parmesan battered French fries, kimchi bulgogi quesadilla, MJ wings, and chipotle fish sandwich. We all had mixed opinions but overall I'd say for the price it was decent. The wings were small and they didn't use the right cheese in the quesadilla. It definitely won't be our go-to place for wings but if we are in the neighborhood and have a hankering for some decent wings, Korean tacos, and fries then we would stop by again. We all agreed that if we were to go back we would get two tacos and Parmesan fries. We paid $16 per couple including tip.

New scenery

On Sundays I like to dress up more, but since it was in the low 30s, maybe high 20s... I wore my warm fuzzy sweater and thick jeans.

Per friend's request, I changed my background. He was getting tired of my backyard deck pictures.

Huband and I couldn't go too far since we had to run errands, so we went to the Forum.

I was craving vegetables, just because I love eating healthy. I was never forced to eat vegetables and rather eat it my veggies than eat fast food. Brussel sprouts, yellow squash, and green beans. We had steak as well, but poor husband is not use to eating healthy and is still hungry.

Brrr so cold!

Why is it so cold in Atlanta? It's worse because when I go to the mall or look online for clothes, all I see is spring clothes! I am so ready to pack up my winter clothes and start wearing pastel colored jeans and  some cute sandals. Hopefully, it will be warm very soon.

New product I bought and I love! So, this is dry shampoo #3. I have tried Tresemme fresh start dry shampoo and Suave dry shampoo that I didn't like. Both made my hair even more greasy with a nasty scent to it. I wanted to call quits on dry shampoo and go back washing my hair everyday, but I heard such good reviews on Batiste dry shampoo. Last night after working out, I tried it and my hair and my hair looked fresh! I didn't have a heavy feeling of product in my hair. This one was $11 and the other two I mentioned is around $3-4. 

B.B cream craze? I know B.B cream has been popular in Korea for a long time, but it's everywhere in the States now. I have used many Korean B.B. cream, but never been satisfied with the color against my skin (made me look more pale). I recently purchased Garnier light/medium for combination/oily skin B.B creme. So far no skin reaction and gives good coverage. For $10 dollars, I am enjoying it a lot compared to what I use to pay for Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer for $42.

Has anyone else tried any other B.B cream?

Instagram Work Clothes

Another week has gone by and here's another installment of Instagram Work Clothes.  My favorite outfit was actually Thursday and I was going to get real pictures taken but by the end of the day I was tired and I forgot.  So, all I have is a picture of my profile to show for that day.

The red pumps I'm wearing are my favorite red pumps.  They are super comfortable and super cute.  You can't see it in this picture but the heels are wood color/texture.  I bought these several years ago from Target for less than $10!!  I love target shoes and if you go at the right time, they have some really great sales.
